Built in 1878, this square pyramidal wood tower stands 11 meters tall and was first lit that same year. Its focal height is 12 meters, and it displays an occulting white light that lasts 4 seconds. The tower, painted white with a red vertical stripe along the range line, is attached to a 1-story wood keeper's quarters. It was moved to its current location on Brébeuf Island in 1900. The lighthouse has a geographic range of 11 nautical miles. The former range it marked has since been discontinued, but the light remains operational.
