About Boat Bluff Lighthouse
This square pyramidal steel skeletal tower, standing 7 meters high on a square base with four legs, was established in 1907. Its white structure is distinguished by a red base. The light, positioned 11.5 meters above the water, emits a white or red flash every 5 seconds and has a geographic range of 10.9 nautical miles. Located on the west side of Sarah Island along the Inside Passage, it marks the northern entry to the narrow Sarah Passage, approximately 5 km north of Klemtu. The Canadian Coast Guard maintains its operational status.
