About Blockhouse Point Lighthouse
Constructed in 1876, the Blockhouse Point Light stands on the western shore of Charlottetown Harbour. The present structure is a wooden pyramidal tower measuring 18.3 meters tall, which replaced earlier lights at the site dating back to the mid-1840s. It is attached to a two-storey keeper's house. The lighthouse remains operational and emits a white flash every 6 seconds. Its focal height is 17 meters, providing a geographic range of 10 nautical miles.

The Blockhouse Point Light is a lighthouse at Rocky Point, Prince Edward Island, Canada, on the western shore of Charlottetown Harbour. The present lighthouse, constructed in 1876, replaced older lighthouses at the site which are believed to have been constructed as early as 1846 to serve as a light for the harbour.
