First lit in 1885, the current navigational light at Berens Island operates from a 13-meter skeletal tower. This structure stands at a focal height of 14 meters and emits a white flash every four seconds, visible for 11.6 nautical miles. The station's original lighthouse, which featured a square tower attached to a keeper's cottage, is no longer active. The Canadian Coast Guard manages the site, which is accessible by boat. While the grounds are open to the public, the tower itself is closed.
