About Barnegat Lighthouse
Construction of the Barnegat Lighthouse was completed in 1835, with its light first activated that same year. The tower stands 52 meters tall, with its focal plane at 50 meters above sea level. It emits a white light. The lighthouse is situated on the northern tip of Long Beach Island, on the south side of Barnegat Inlet in New Jersey. Although no longer operational, the structure is a listed attraction.
