Two ADNOC tankers were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz on the evening of August 13. No crew were injured. The situation was brought under control, ADNOC confirmed.
The UAE condemned the strikes and accused Iran of carrying out the attacks. Neither tanker was named. No damage details were released.
An ADNOC tanker had been struck in the same waterway five days earlier, on August 8, also without casualties or disclosed tanker name. That attack too drew condemnation from UAE authorities, who called it a hostile act.
