The Lipsi arrived in Dynacom's fleet on August 24, 2026. Six weeks.

An unknown projectile struck the 115,057-dwt Liberia-flagged tanker on October 4 and damaged its engine room, according to Riviera Maritime Media, which reported that the crew was safe and no pollution was recorded.

It is the third Dynacom tanker hit in the Strait of Hormuz this year. The Kavomaleas and the Acheloos were struck in July 2026.

The Maritime Executive, citing UKMTO and security consultancy Ambrey, reported six tankers struck in and around the Strait in one week; Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority has attributed the campaign to its policy of targeting tankers on its non-compliant list.

The week's pattern ran across flag states and owners. Cape Dao took a projectile hit near the Strait of Hormuz on September 23 alongside two others. On September 29, Kuwait summoned Iran's envoy after two Kuwaiti tankers were struck at the Strait of Hormuz. On October 1, a tanker caught fire after a projectile strike in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Lipsi was number six.
