Background
Valløy eller Vallø er ei halvøy ved Oslofjorden i Slagen i Tønsberg kommune i Vestfold. Halvøya er bare cirka 1 km lang og en halv km brei, og ligger ved innseilinga til byen Tønsberg fra øst. Halvøya er liten, men har likevel vært svært viktig i nasjonal og lokal industrihistorie. Valløy lå i tidligere Sem kommune, som ble slått sammen med Tønsberg i 1988.
