Ekeren est un district de la ville belge d'Anvers située en Région flamande dans la province d'Anvers. C'était une commune à part entière avant la fusion des communes de 1983, quand son territoire fut scindé, une partie devenant un district de la ville d'Anvers l'autre intégrée dans la commune de Kapellen. Cette ancienne commune a célébré son 850e anniversaire en 2005 ; son nom Hecerna fut mentionné pour la première fois en 1155.
