This cylindrical concrete lighthouse, built in 1917, stands 7 meters tall with its lantern and gallery atop a 1-story keeper's house. Rising from Strogilí island, it reaches a focal height of 107 meters. The structure displays a green exterior and emits a white flash every 5 seconds, visible for 25.6 nautical miles. It is situated on a small island 6 km southeast of Megísti and 3 km off the southwestern coast of Turkey. The lighthouse was first lit in 1917, the same year it was built, and its operational status continues today. It is located within the Municipality of Meyisti, the easternmost island of the Megísti group.
