Its light emits a single red flash every 6 seconds, offering a geographic range of 11 nautical miles. The lighthouse is situated on the north side of the Ganjeolot peninsula, approximately 8 kilometers from Ulsan. The site is open to visitors, though access to the tower itself is restricted.
