A 10-meter cylindrical concrete tower, the Sobiyo Lighthouse stands 12 meters above sea level. Its construction features a yellow lower half and a black upper half. The lighthouse emits a single red flash every 4 seconds, visible for 11 nautical miles. It is located on a reef about 1200 meters north of Biyangdo, off the coast of Jeju. While the site is accessible by boat, the tower itself is closed to visitors. The nearest port, Hwasun, is 11.7 kilometers away.
