A 10-meter cylindrical concrete tower painted white, Saseo Lighthouse stands 18 meters above sea level. It is located on a small island in northern Geoje Bay, approximately 2.5 km northeast of the entrance to Tongyeong harbor. The lighthouse emits a white flash every six seconds. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed. It is situated about 1.8 km from the nearest port, Tongyeong.
Why it matters: This lighthouse aids vessels entering and exiting the significant port of Tongyeong, marking the northern extent of Geoje Bay.
