Ra's Abū Daraj lighthouse, erected in 1926, is a white, cylindrical concrete tower 30 meters in height. The light is positioned 50 meters above sea level, emitting a white flash every 20 seconds. The tower is connected to a large building for personnel, presenting a notable silhouette. Located about 40 kilometers north of Zaafarana on Egypt's Red Sea shore, it was refurbished in 1987. The light is visible for 18.7 nautical miles.
