A white, cylindrical concrete tower stands 9 meters tall on the east breakwater of Pyoseon Hang. With a focal height of 12 meters, it emits a green light, flashing once every 4 seconds. This structure extends 11 nautical miles, aiding navigation into the small port located about 15 kilometers southwest of Pangdupo. The site is open to the public, but climbing the tower is not allowed. It is situated in the Seogwipo-si region of South Korea.
Why it matters: This lighthouse aids local mariners by delineating the east breakwater, facilitating safe entry into the small port of Pyoseon for fishing vessels and other small craft.
