About Ponta Matirre Lighthouse
Ponta Matirre Lighthouse, built in 1913, is a square skeletal tower measuring 13 meters high. It features a lantern and gallery and is painted with horizontal bands of red and white. The light displays three white flashes in a 2+1 pattern every 12 seconds, with a focal height of 50 meters. Though currently inactive, plans for restoration and reactivation have been noted. The structure has a keeper's house, which was previously documented.
