About Okishiine Shima Lighthouse
The Okishiine Shima lighthouse, built and first lit in 1977, stands on a concrete round tower. Its white and red banded exterior houses a light with a focal height of 21 meters. This structure emits a red flash every 3 seconds. A radar reflector is also fitted to the tower. The lighthouse is situated on a skerry approximately 500 meters offshore from Tsushima's northern coast.
