About Naedo Lighthouse
The Naedo lighthouse was a white, cylindrical skeletal tower with a gallery, constructed of steel and standing 30 meters tall. It served as a leading light for vessels entering the Daesan and Pyongtaek harbors, formerly situated at the west end of the Dangjin waterfront. This lighthouse was operational until 2013 when it was deactivated and subsequently demolished. Its precise construction date is not recorded, but it provided navigational guidance for many years.
