This square skeletal tower, built of steel and first lit in 1952, stands 32 meters tall on a low point of land. It is painted with red and white horizontal bands. Located on the east side of the Rio Marapanim's entrance, about 25 km west of Salinópolis, it emits a white light with one flash every 10 seconds. The lighthouse has a geographic range of 16 nautical miles. Its focal height reaches 34 meters above sea level.
