Built in 1898, the Liméni Lighthouse marks the southern entrance to the harbor of Liméni on the eastern side of the Messiniakos Kolpós. This skeletal concrete tower stands 6 meters tall and is painted white. Its focal height reaches 14 meters, casting a white light with a single flash every 1.5 seconds. The structure includes a lantern situated atop a small, one-story stone keeper's cottage. Situated about 3 kilometers northwest of Areopoli, this lighthouse has a geographic range of 11.6 nautical miles. It guides vessels navigating the waters of the Peloponnese Region.
