This cylindrical tower stands 39 meters tall, with its light positioned at a focal height of 47 meters. It emits a white flash every 15 seconds, visible for 18.2 nautical miles. The structure is a square, cylindrical skeletal tower topped with a lantern and gallery. A rectangular white daymark is also part of its design. The lighthouse is located on a headland on the east side of the Gulf, about 35 kilometers southeast of Suez city and directly opposite 'Ayn Sukhnah.
