The structure consists of a 4-meter round lantern, painted white, with a focal height of 27 meters. It emits an occulting white or green light on a 10-second cycle, visible for 14.7 nautical miles. The site is open to the public, providing views of the Aegean Sea toward Turkey's Cape Baba, which is 8 kilometers distant. The tower itself, however, remains closed.
