The Koghi Lighthouse, constructed of stone, was first lit in 1901. It is a cylindrical tower 12 meters high, painted white and topped with a green dome. The focal height reaches 33 meters, casting a white light with a single flash every 4 seconds. The lighthouse structure includes a lantern and gallery atop a 1-story keeper's house. While the tower is closed to visitors, the site is open for public access. It is situated at the southern tip of the island, approximately 1.5 kilometers southeast of Kolones.
Why it matters: This lighthouse aids safe passage around the island's southern tip and is an architectural landmark due to its design.
