Constructed in 1890, Kandeloussa lighthouse stands on a small island situated about 18 kilometers south of the southwestern tip of Kos and 15 kilometers southwest of Nisyros. The structure consists of a 10-meter cylindrical tower with a lantern and gallery, attached to a single-story keeper's house. From a focal height of 55 meters, it emits a white flash every 10 seconds. Its geographic range extends to 19.4 nautical miles. The lighthouse is located within the Municipality of Nisyros and is operational.
