This active lighthouse is a round, white, concrete tower, 10 meters in height. It is located on the western extremity of Jaeundo, near Jaeun, in South Korea's South Jeolla province. From a focal plane 60 meters above sea level, its light flashes white every 5 seconds, covering a distance of 20.1 nautical miles. The tower has a cylindrical shape and is built of concrete. Mokpo, the closest port, is 20.6 kilometers distant.
