A 12-meter-high, square skeletal metal tower painted white, equipped with a gallery, is situated on Isla Lobos. This tower marks the northern entry to the Bay of La Paz. The light displays a white flash every 10 seconds. Its focal plane is 40 meters above sea level, and it has a visibility range of 17.1 nautical miles. A secondary, older skeletal tower is also found nearby.
