This white, cylindrical concrete tower stands 8 meters tall with a focal height of 12 meters. It is situated on the east breakwater of Hangnim harbor, on the north side of Haklimdo island. The lighthouse emits a single green flash every 4 seconds, visible for 11 nautical miles. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed. It is located near Tongyeong-si, approximately 5.3 kilometers from the nearest port.
Why it matters: This lighthouse is important for local fishing vessels and other small craft entering and exiting Hangnim harbor, marking the east breakwater with its green light.
