Located in South Korea's Jeonbuk State, it is situated about 1.6 kilometers west of the Gomso Hang light and 1.6 kilometers offshore from Gomso harbor. The structure emits a red light with a flash pattern of Fl R 6s, offering a geographic range of 11.3 nautical miles. Access to the site is permitted, though climbing the tower is not allowed. Gunsan, the closest port, is 24 kilometers distant.
Why it matters: This navigation aid marks the entrance to Gomso harbor, assisting local fishing boats and smaller vessels.
