About Hahyo Hang North Breakwater Lighthouse
This red, cylindrical concrete tower was built in 2013. Standing 15 meters tall, its lantern and gallery are situated at a focal height of 18 meters. The lighthouse emits a red flash every 6 seconds, visible for 12.7 nautical miles. Located on the north breakwater of Hahyo harbor, it marks the northern edge of the channel. The site is open to visitors, though the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: This light serves to guide vessels entering Hahyo harbor from the north, clearly demarcating the shipping lane and preventing contact with the breakwater.
