The Guaxindiba lighthouse was a cylindrical, skeletal steel tower standing 20 meters tall, painted white. It featured a square base and carried a rectangular daymark panel. Established around 2003, this structure was situated just off the beach, about 5 kilometers east of São Francisco de Itabapoana in Rio de Janeiro state. It emitted two white flashes every 10 seconds. The lighthouse was inactive starting in 2017 and has since been removed.
