A steel, triangular skeletal tower stands 19 meters tall on the south quay of the Grey River. This white structure carries a large, slatted daymark and emits a white flash every 12 seconds. Its focal height is also 19 meters, providing a geographic range of 12.9 nautical miles. The light operates in conjunction with a front light to establish a navigational range. The site is open to the public, but the tower itself is closed.
