It is situated on the western breakwater of Gajin Harbor, near Jugwang-myeon in South Korea's Gangwon State. The lighthouse emits a green light, flashing once every 5 seconds, with a geographic range of 12.2 nautical miles. The site surrounding the lighthouse is accessible to the public, although the tower itself is closed.
Why it matters: This light guides vessels entering and exiting Gajin Harbor, ensuring safe passage along the west breakwater for local fishing boats and commercial ships.
