A tapered, triangular white concrete tower stands 12 meters tall on the south end of Gageodo island. Its light is positioned 15 meters above sea level and emits a green flash every 5 seconds. The lighthouse marks the breakwater for the village of Gageodo, located within the Heuksan city area. The structure has a geographic range of 11.9 nautical miles. While the site is accessible to the public, the tower itself cannot be entered.
