A cylindrical concrete tower, 11 meters in height, is situated on a rock in the northeastern section of Yeoja Bay. The structure is painted black and features a single red horizontal band. Its light reaches a focal height of 14 meters and produces a white flash every 10 seconds, with a geographic range of 11.6 nautical miles. Access to the location is by boat; the grounds are open to the public, but the tower is not accessible. The lighthouse lies about 10 kilometers east of Yeosu-si.
Why it matters: This navigation aid marks the harbor entrance for Yeosu and assists vessels in the intricate Yeoja Bay area.
