This square concrete tower, built in 2018, stands 10 meters tall and emits a red light. The focal height of the light is 12 meters, and it displays a flashing red signal every 5 seconds. The lighthouse is situated on the main breakwater of Yeondong harbor, approximately 6 kilometers north of Gampo. Its structure includes a lantern and gallery, and the tower is painted white. This light replaced a previous structure that served the same navigational purpose. The site is open to the public, though the tower itself is closed.
