This lighthouse emits a green flash every 5 seconds, visible for 14.5 nautical miles. It is situated on a pier at the west end of Bigyeongdo, an island northwest of Daesan harbor. The structure is operational and made of concrete, with the site open to the public while the tower itself remains closed. Its nearest port is Daesan, 2.2 kilometers away.
