Located on the west breakwater of Ando harbor, it is attached to a smaller island that shelters the port. The lighthouse emits a single green flash, visible for 9 nautical miles. It served the western approach to Ando harbor, near Yeosu-si in South Korea's South Jeolla region. The site remains open to visitors, though the tower itself is closed.
