The tower, constructed from red fiberglass, measures 10 meters in height and has a cylindrical form with a round hourglass profile. Its light source is positioned 12 meters above sea level. The characteristic of the light is a single white flash occurring every 10 seconds, with a geographic range of 11 nautical miles. The closest port is Ras Gharib, located 6.6 kilometers distant.
