The GLOVIS NOVA left Shanghai's South Port Terminal on July 27, 2026. It carried 7,738 electric vehicles. That number set a record for the largest EV cargo ever loaded at a single Chinese domestic port on one ship, South China Morning Post and Carscoops reported. Bound for Zeebrugge, Belgium, the cars were to be distributed across Europe once they arrived. Carscoops identified the cargo as Tesla Model 3 and Model Y units. The ship reached European waters by mid-August, Shippax reported.
