Every figure is an index from 0–100 — not a raw count — re-based each refresh, so read it as relative attention and rank rather than an absolute or cross-time count. Signals are derived from anonymous search and map-tracking activity across 112,000+ vessels and refreshed every few hours. A higher number means attention is growing faster, not that traffic is larger in absolute terms. It reflects what people are watching — not AIS ship positions.
