The Verchères Village Range Front light is a square skeletal tower with a wooden lantern, standing 6 meters tall and first lit in 1902. The current structure dates from 1929 and is made of wood. Its focal height is 9.5 meters, and it emits a continuous green light. This light has a geographic range of 10.2 nautical miles. The station is located on the east breakwater in Verchères, on the southeast side of the St. Lawrence River, about 25 kilometers northeast of Montréal. The site is open to the public, but the tower is closed.
