Ubemisaki Kō is a post light with a focal plane of 12 meters. It is located on the eastern end of a detached breakwater safeguarding the approach to Ube's fishing harbor, west of the airport. The light displays a green flash every 5 seconds, with a range of 11 nautical miles. This post light succeeded a former, shorter concrete structure. The site is open for visits, but the tower remains inaccessible.
