Uala Lighthouse

The Uala Lighthouse is a cylindrical stone tower, 8 meters in height, painted with black and white horizontal bands. Its focal height reaches 24 meters above sea level, providing a geographic range of 14.1 nautical miles. This structure serves as a navigational aid, warning vessels about the headland at the eastern entrance to Uala Bay. Its light sequence consists of a 3-second flash followed by a 3-second period of darkness, a pattern that aids in identification and safe passage. The lighthouse's construction material is stone, contributing to its durable presence on the coast.
