Built in 1920, the Triple Islands Lighthouse is a cylindrical concrete tower standing 22 meters tall. It is situated on the northwesternmost of three rocky islets that mark the entrance to the Brown Passage. This passage connects the Dixon Entrance to Prince Rupert, approximately 40 km to the east. The lighthouse features an octagonal cylindrical concrete tower topped with a lantern and gallery, attached to a two-story keeper's house. Its light emits two white flashes every 9 seconds and has a geographic range of 14.9 nautical miles from a focal height of 28 meters. The Canadian Coast Guard currently manages the operational light.
