This white, cylindrical concrete tower stands 7.5 meters tall and is situated off a promontory on the west side of Sagi Shima, near Mihara in Japan's Hiroshima Prefecture. The structure is a round concrete tower mounted on a concrete pier. Its light is positioned at a focal height of 10 meters. The lighthouse emits a single red flash every 8 seconds, visible for a geographic range of 10.4 nautical miles. While the site is open to visitors arriving by boat, the tower itself is closed to the public. The nearest port, Sunami, is 1.2 kilometers away.
