A 10-meter white concrete post supports a red, box-shaped daymark atop a platform. This platform rests on three piles. The light characteristic is a single red flash every three seconds (Fl R 3s). Situated west of Pulau Klang in Selangor, Malaysia, the lighthouse is located near Pulau Ketam. The site can be reached by boat, but public access to the tower is restricted.
Why it matters: This navigation aid marks the southwestern extremity of Pulau Ketam, offering a reference point for craft in the channels near Port Klang.
