Tanjung Bakau C Lighthouse

This skeletal lighthouse, painted white, stands 28 meters tall with its light positioned 29 meters above sea level. It emits a white light with a two-second on, two-second off pattern, completing a cycle every 4 seconds. The structure is located 18.3 kilometers from the nearest port, Sungai Guntung. Its geographic range extends to 15.1 nautical miles. The lighthouse serves as an outbound range light, guiding vessels departing the strait towards Bengkalis.

Why it matters: This light functions as part of a pair, working with a front range light to help vessels safely exit the strait and avoid grounding in the shipping channel.
