This navigational aid stands on the outer end of the breakwater at Shonan Port in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The metal structure is a round column, painted in alternating black and yellow bands. It emits a green isophase light, with a 4-second cycle. The focal height reaches 19 meters, providing a geographic range of 8 nautical miles. An Automatic Identification System (AIS) is also integrated into the structure.
