About Skansen Lighthouse
Skansen Lighthouse, a 11-meter round concrete tower, was reactivated in 1916. Located at the end of the east breakwater, it marks the eastern entrance to the Trondheim Sailing Club harbor on the west side of Trondheim. The structure features a lantern and gallery and emits a flashing yellow light. After being absent from the Norsk Fyrliste for some years, the lighthouse was restored and recommissioned in 2009. It provides a geographic range of 10.4 nautical miles.
