The Shiogama Range Front was a square pyramidal skeletal tower constructed of steel, painted white, and stood 24 meters tall. It featured a gallery and a focal height of 154 meters, offering a geographic range of 19 nautical miles. This navigational aid was positioned near the inner harbor of downtown Shiogama, approximately 1.7 kilometers from the nearest port. Its light characteristic was described as F.G. 26. The structure was removed after being deactivated in 2014. It had previously been knocked out of service by the 2011 tsunami before being restored later that year.
